Play Oware on One Device
Set one phone, tablet, or computer between you and start right away. There is no room to create, no sign-in, and no connection to wait for. Tap a house on your row, pass the device across, and decide on takebacks before the first sow.

Follow the Turn
The status bar tells you whether South or North is up. Tap a non-empty house on your row. Tapping an empty house or the wrong side does not spend the turn, so pass the device across only after the sow is complete.

Legal Does Not Mean Best
Most beginner debates come down to three questions: does this sow leave 2 or 3 for a chain, would the capture be a void grand slam, and must you feed an empty side? The board only accepts legal Abapa moves. A move can be legal and still be a bad trade.

Swap Sides After Each Game
Because South always opens, the fairest short set gives each person one game as South. The move list records every house, so you can replay the turn when a capture chain landed or a feed was skipped.
